Many home health care assistants work with older adults in their homes to provide regular support for activities of daily living. Home health care professionals should be aware of the unique needs and potential options for every patient as they are often the primary contact for both the patient and his or her family. This course discusses the unique needs that elderly and chronically ill patients have in a variety of settings, including the typical services provided as well as treatment needs for these populations.
