What are best practices for AAC? Discover what researchers and manufacturers are developing in the next several years. Discuss the implications of assisted technology as a whole, in light of a society that increasingly connected. This course will cross all medical diagnosis and levels of ability from preverbal to adults with attention and memory deficit. Objective Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: Define the nature of ¿replacement¿ in terms of assistive technology, from supplanting a lost biological capacity to creating a new one Differentiate the ways that alternative and augmentative technology can progress in the near and long-term future.
