This course will discuss the most current scientific evidence about ADHD, interventions, and finding family health and balance amid the challenges and joys of children with ADHD. He will also discuss the types of ADHD related disruptions and family management styles. Studies show the frontal lobe involvement with ADHD, including working memory, internalizing speech, self-regulation, perceptions of time, and inhibition of responses. Bridget O'Boyle-Jordan, CPNP, MSN will discuss the different types of medical management.
