Course overview

Do you feel as though you¿ve ¿been there, done that¿ and are you looking for new ways to motivate your students and get them engaged in learning? In this session, discover 10+ different types of poetry and how to use it to build language and literacy skills in a less intimidating and more confidence building way. Objective Following the course, participants will be able to: 1. name at least 5 different types of poetry 2. list area[s] of speech and/or language that can be targeted from at least 5 different types of poetry 3. plan a large group lesson using at least two different types of poetry 4. name digital tools and resources
