ABU200 - Child & Dependent Adult Abuse for Iowa Mandatory Reporters

Course overview

As health care professionals, you play a vital role in recognizing and reporting suspected child and dependent adult abuse. You are also designated a mandatory reporter under Iowa Code 232.69(3). Mandatory reporters, including self-employed health care professionals, are required by law to complete two hours of training during their first six months of employment and two hours every five years thereafter. This online course meets the requirement for two hours of mandatory continuing education on the combined topic of child and dependent adult abuse as required by Iowa Code.
