Course overview

As health care professionals, you play a vital role in recognizing and reporting suspected child abuse and are recognized as mandatory reporters under Iowa Code 232.69(3). Mandatory reporters, including self-employed health care professionals, are required by law to complete two hours of training during their first six months of employment and two hours every five years thereafter.
