Course overview

Quality of life is important for each and every resident who resides in the healthcare setting. If you asked a resident to describe what he or she feels is “quality of life,” you would get many different answers, as each person is an individual and what is important to one person may be less important to another; however, there are certain things that translate into quality of life for every person. This course will focus on the CMS F-tag regulations that pertain to facilities and how they must care for their residents in a manner and in an environment that promotes maintenance or enhancement of each resident’s quality of life.
