Course overview

Mental Illness can affect anyone. It does not discriminate based on age, gender, ethnicity, religion, income, social status, or sexual orientation. While mental illness can affect the behavioral health of anyone at any age, 75% of all mental illness begins by age 24. Although a vast majority of individuals with mental illness continue to function in their daily lives, it does cause interference with social functioning, family relations, or work activities.
