TCM Care for Our Aging Population

Course overview

In March of 2017, the US Census Bureau released its International Population Report. The “Big News” was that the growth of the world’s older population will continue to outpace that of the younger population over the next 35 years. In fact, before we reach the year 2020 the world will cross the threshold of there being more older people than younger people under 5. The need for proper care and nurturing of the aging population group is extremely important. The current trend in the health care system of today, is to manage aging by piling on layer after layer of medications on an as needed basis. We have all seen lists of patients in their 60’s with long lists of medications that they have been on for years. In this course, Dr. Chang will present treatment protocols, procedures and nutritional tips that can be implemented with this age group to reduce medication and improve vitality.
