Tracking # 20-619257
Course overview
Influenza is a common infection which can be prevented with the annual receipt of the influenza vaccine. Influenza vaccine is recommended for just about every population and age group. During the 2015-16 influenza season influenza vaccine uptake rates were decreased to 41.7% from the prior influenza season. Vaccine rates among children between the ages of 6 months and 17 years remained similar at 59.3%. During this presentation we will explore barriers and potential solutions to increasing influenza vaccine uptake.
