Course overview

Developing a plan of care to reduce deficits associated with Gleno-humeral Impingement Syndrome is not a one-size fits all effort. This course will provide clinicians with a systematic approach to designing a treatment plan which is tailored to the patient’s individual needs and problems. This method begins with performing the tests and measures most supported by evidence and using findings to select effective manual and exercise interventions. This information will be presented from the perspective of multiple case studies as well as a survey of recent literature. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and athletic training and is therefore appropriate for the PT, PTA and AT.
