Course overview

Normal movement is smooth and accurate, but damage to the cerebellum disrupts this ability to make coordinated movements and causes ataxia which impacts all aspects of movement. This course will provide clinically applicable, evidence-based strategies for the identification, examination, and treatment of persons with ataxia. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and therefore appropriate for the PT and PTA.
