This course will review some of the contributing factors within the NICU to the later outcome of the preterm infant. The awareness of these factors will guide the implementation of appropriate developmental interventions and strategies for the care of infant and mother within the unit. The content of this course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT and PTA.
