FDA Black Box Warnings

Course overview

Black Box Warnings (BBW) have been established and recognized as the highest level warning from the FDA to promote optimal patient safety. Although clinicians are generally aware of the importance of these alerts, the inconsistency in how these alerts are documented has become an increasing concern now that there are electronic updates to labeling (and many more generic companies now involved). This program will provide an update on class BBW exploring the AHFS by therapeutic categories as well as a "top ten" suggested list based on overall usage.
