Course overview

SP091 - The purpose of this course is to familiarize the learner with the use of special diets to manage disease progression and symptoms. The course engages the student in learning about the use of special (also known as therapeutic) diets to promote health, decrease adverse symptoms, and delay decline associated with chronic disease processes in older adults.
