Information about Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, the role of physical activity in managing diabetes, and healthy eating choices is presented. The course engages the learner in the role of insulin and oral medications in managing diabetes, comparing hypo- and hyperglycemia, and exploring the potential complications of diabetes.
