SP094 - The purpose of this course is to familiarize the learner with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and treatments commonly used. The anatomy and function of normal lungs and changes that occur because of lung disease are presented. Information is provided on the disease process, causes, and symptoms of COPD. This course engages learners in content about the normal lung functions and disease diagnostics, medications used for treatment, and lifestyle changes that occur with chronic lung disease.
