Educational objectives: To improve understanding of ALK-negative ALCL, which is now a distinct entity in the revised WHO classification. To highlight the diagnostic characteristics of ALK-negative ALCL, the heterogeneity of clinical features with sometimes unusual presentation and importance of prolonged eosinophilia as a feature of T cell lymphoma. To underscore the importance of cytogenetic and molecular genetic studies that are of prognostic value in ALCL.
