Course overview
For most patients, EMS responders have the opportunity to assess vital signs. By correctly interpreting vital signs, the EMS professional can identify life threatening emergencies, predict the severity of a patient's hemodynamic state, determine treatment, and correctly monitor the overall condition of the patient. This program will help EMS providers gain an understanding of the importance of assessing and interpreting the vital signs and using these findings to improve the quality of patient care.
