Kinetic acupuncture is a unique and dynamic treatment method that uses movement and exercise during treatment to promote circulation, structural balance, pain relief, and most importantly, recovery of function in injured areas. The origin of kinetic acupuncture, “Acupuncture with movement”, can be found in Hui Ci needling of the classical Nei-Jing. In Part II of this two-part series, Dr. Hyungsuk Choi, one of Korea’s top acupuncture clinician with over 24 years of experience specializing in musculoskeletal pain disorders, continues the course with the philosophy and clinical application of kinetic acupuncture for common musculoskeletal problems. The conditions covered include pain in the wrist, elbow, ankle, foot, neck, and head. Safety applications and contra-indications of kinetic acupuncture will also be covered.
