Untangling Emotional Trauma with TCM, Part I

Course overview

Emotional trauma can upset the harmony of the body and reduce the body's ability to heal and regulate itself. Once the traumas are identified and treated, the body will function at an optimum level and will respond to treatments for other conditions present. CT Holman is an acupuncturist of over 15 years of experience specializing in emotional trauma. This course integrates the multi-diagnostic and treatment methods existing in Chinese medicine, and contains diagnostics such as facial, tongue, and channel diagnosis. Treatment protocols addressed include acupuncture points, Chinese herbal formulas, and lifestyle and nutritional recommendations. In part I of this two-part series, participants will learn the pathophysiology of emotional trauma, recognize general diagnostic signs of trauma and how to re-set the overall physiology of the body, understand how to address an emotional trauma trapped in the body, and differentiate how trauma has affected the channels and organ systems.
