Understanding and Managing Ostomies

Course overview

In this course, the participant will learn about the functions of the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts. When disease or trauma affects these two functions, the resulting treatment can be ostomy surgery. This course will take you through the basics of Urostomy, colostomy and ileostomy creation and care.
