Course overview

Administrators, managers and key staff will benefit from the 12-hour Online Refresher Course. This course is a review of crucial areas of assisted living regulation and operations in Florida. The course is fully up to date and incorporates the regulatory changes that were made in 2018. The content areas covered in the course include residency criteria, resident care standards, admission procedures, medication practices, food services, resident rights, limited nursing services, and emergency environmental control requirements. An updated Core training manual is included in the course for participants to download or purchase. The course includes mobile app access and email support and is available to participants for 60 days. Once completed, participants receive a certificate of completion. The training hours may be used to comply with continuing education requirements for assisted living administrators and managers. Florida Senior Living Association also provides CE information to CE Broker for licensed nurses and nursing home administrators.
