Faced with an seemingly ever increasing aging population, clinicians are challenged with the need to develop a strategy to addresses some of the issues associated with treating this population that include but are not limited to, recognizing barriers to successful medication management, defining the role and appropriate use of medications for various conditions commonly encountered by older adults and tackling current guidelines and controversies debated in the management of both medical and neuropsychiatric treatment of older adults.
