Course overview

This course is an in-depth exploration of trauma-informed auricular acupuncture. Participants will learn the history, theory and practice of auricular acupuncture with a focus on the 5 Needle Protocol, the neuroscience of trauma and addiction, ACEs, the social and structural determinants of health/addiction, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care. The history of auricular acupuncture, point locations, implementation, safety procedures, and issues surrounding legislation will be discussed.
