Tracking # 20-649019
Course overview
The Eight Extraordinary vessels (8EV) are the reservoirs of resources that govern growth and development throughout the 7/8 cycles of jing. In this 2-day course we will explore how the 8EV support health and well-being during major life events and transitions. We will introduce the functions of these vessels as they relate to: - Puberty & menarche - The menstrual cycle and fertility - Post-partum health - Menopause and Andropause These vessels can help patients to be adaptable in the face of major life changes. Patients may then make better choices about how they will use their resources. We will also investigate how trauma and resistance to change can block the healthy and productive use of resources leading to chronic and difficult to treat diseases.
