Course overview

Each year in the U.S., a quarter of a million deaths are attributable to medical error. In this course the student could learn that they have a responsibility to be aware of the risk of medical errors and know the strategies to minimize that potential risk. Personal responsibility is essential to reducing medical errors and increasing patient safety. In the context of medical errors is essential to minimizing their occurrence and provide strategies.
