Course overview
This lecture will start with summarizing key ideas from the earliest literature that describes needling not as the mechanical event that has become the focus of many in modern practice, but rather as a qi regulatory event that is highly dependent on the state of the practitioner - something that is not easy to do. The course will then explore and illustrate various applications that attempt to reproduce historical descriptions of needling, point location, interacting with qi through touch and other protocols in order to help 'regulate the qi' of the patient.
