Shonishin: Japanese Acupuncture for Children
Tracking # 20-654055
Course overview
Shonishin (children's acupuncture therapy) is a unique and specialized pediatric style of acupuncture that developed over 250 years ago in Japan, and is used to treat a wide variety of health problems. It recognizes the fact that children do not like needles, and instead utilizes specialized treatment techniques, many of which are non-invasive and thus not frightening to the child. This course will give an overview of protocols for pediatric patients and the general Shonishin root treatment. Recorded demonstrations for illustrating protocols will be provided.
