This course provides best-practice and monitoring criteria for individuals with atrial fibrillation. This includes the Vaughn Williams classification system as well as first and second-line classes used for rate control in atrial fibrillation. The course describes the mechanisms of action of the first and second-line drugs as well as drug side-effects and related nursing implications.
