Improving Cultural Competence: Core Competencies, Evaluations, and Treatment

Course overview

This course will define cultural competence, present a rationale for pursuing it, and describe the process of becoming responsive to client needs. It also addresses development of cultural awareness and provides guidelines for culturally responsive clinical services, including interviewing skills, assessment practices, and treatment planning.
