Classical Five-Element Acupuncture: The Initial Examination

Course overview

In this recording, attendees will watch Professor Neil Gumenick conduct an initial examination of a patient, with emphasis on interviewing skills, rapport, diagnosis of the primary elemental imbalance (Causative Factor), and level of disease (physical, mental, spiritual). Significant diagnostic moments will be highlighted and discussed. Following the interview, Neil will explain his diagnostic conclusions and treatment plan, which will be carried out. Attendees will see the patient post-treatment and several follow-up treatments will be discussed.
