Tracking # 20-661035
Course overview
Perimenopause, referred to as menopausal transition by the North American Menopause Society, starts with changes in the length and duration of menstruation triggered by endocrine fluctuations. The transition may last for four to eight years and ends with the final menstrual period. This continued education module describes the normal changes that occur to a womans reproductive system as she ages. It also offers ways to help women manage unpleasant symptoms of perimenopause.
