Course overview
The purpose of this course is to increase participants' understanding of the value of human diversity in the workplace and the significance of inclusion. This course will cover the richness of people's own diversity dimensions and those of others. This course presents the Primary and Secondary Dimensions of Diversity that contribute to the complexity of cultural diversity and the Cycle of Socialization. Participants will also analyze why some diversity programs fail and why some are effective. Lastly, this course introduces four key areas of diversity and how they influence people's awareness of differences as well as how they impact behaviors in the workplace.
