Course overview

This course discusses Brief Interventions and Brief Therapies in both alcohol use and substance use. These interventions include mild, moderate, severe and dependent users. The therapies covered are: brief cognitive-behavioral therapy, brief strategic and interactional therapies, brief humanistic and existential therapies, brief psychodynamic therapy, short-term family therapy, and time-limited group therapy. Theses chapters include theory, research and application of these interventions.
