Course overview

This course reviews many of the major concepts in nursing care when women are diagnosed with malignancies. The major nonreproductive organ cancers that affect women are addressed, including lung, colorectal, and skin cancers. Information about each of these cancers includes an overview of the epidemiology of the cancer, risk factors, risk assessment, prevention and detection strategies, diagnosis, staging, and treatment modalities.
