Maximizing the Team Approach for NeuroRehabilitation - SOD

Course overview

There is a significant amount of research that proves a comprehensive, holistic, and team approach to rehabilitation is best after neurological injuries. Implementing this approach to rehab may be difficult for healthcare workers who have typically used a medical model, segmented treatment approach such as nursing, separate from therapies, and separate from physician care. This course provides an overview of evidence-based team approaches for neurorehabilitation. Specific examples of case studies and team treatment plans are presented throughout the presentation. There is a focus on giving participants therapeutic tools and ideas to take back to their organizations.
