Course overview

This course will explore Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches to assessing and treating patients affected by concussion or brain injury. Key pathogenic factors, etiologies, and patterns frequently involved in brain injury and concussion will be shared as well as point protocols and herbal approaches to treatment. Neurobiology, neurological testing, and symptom correlates to affected brain regions will also be covered to create a more informed treatment approach and plan. Patient-practitioner relations specific to brain injury and subpopulations will also be discussed.
