The instructor will provide an overarching review of the literature as it pertains to concussion management from acute injury to return to play. The modules within this course include introduction to concussions, recognition and sideline evaluation, clinical evaluation, neuropsychological testing, rehabilitation techniques, and academic modifications. As the literature and practice guidelines/recommendations are reviewed, the participants will partake in interactive group discussions and lab experiences to augment the didactic section of the course.
