Course overview

Live Online, This workshop brings the art of Cupping Therapy into your clinical practice and is designed for manual therapists who are interested in incorporating Cupping for the treatment of muscular pain. The Clinical Cupping Certification course will cover the techniques useful for treating patients who have a variety of musculoskeletal disorders. We explore the contribution that Cupping Therapy can have on a patient's pain symptoms and movement restrictions, and how these treatments might serve to alleviate those symptoms. This Cupping course is unique in that it does not focus on any one 'type' of Cupping Therapy but rather focuses on the types of treatments that can be provided using the various types of cups available. This approach provides therapists with the knowledge and skill on how to use a number of different types of cups to achieve the therapeutic outcomes they desire for their patients. You will learn how to use 13 different cupping sets, the history, contraindications/indications, proper cleaning protocols, specific treatments for many issues seen in your practice, charting, cupping with movement, nerve glides, scar tissue work and debunking of many myths currently taught in the industry. There is 2-way communication at all times, both audio and video, so the instructor and students are more involved the entire length of the course for lecture, discussion, demos, videos and lots of hands on practical time!
