Human Trafficking: Role of the Pharmacist

Course overview

This one hour course addresses the elements required for pharmacists to renew their license in the new Florida Board of Pharmacy requirement. Through case studies the course expands upon horrible situations that have resulted in all Florida healthcare workers having to undergo this education on the subject. One case reviews a mother selling one of her children for organ transplant. Through this program one can become more aware of human trafficking and better prepared of how to detect it and what they can do.
