Certification Training For Mental Health First Aid For Youth & Adults

Course overview

This course provides a comprehensive overview related to how to identify, Understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This course gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to a youth or adult who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. This course covers common signs and symptoms of mental illness, common signs and symptoms of substance use, How to interact with a person in crisis, and how to connect individuals with help. Each course participant will receive a Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification and an Adult Mental Health First Aid Certification at the conclusion of this course.
