Course overview
The heart and kidney together form the yang and yin of the shaoyin level. The heart is discussed first and it's role as the emperor. Then palpitations are discussed and why they often require treatment on the heart channel. The anatomy of the heart channel and how it is simply the arteries of the body is then covered. The anatomical connection between kidney and heart is then shown and what is happening when they 'communicate'. This second part covers the kidney, it's functions, the key part that the adrenal gland plays, the role of the kidney in controlling the lower jiao, and the anatomical channel of the kidney. Finally, a discussion is presented of the commonly used points of the Kidney channel.
