2 CE credit hours This course is intended as an annual update offered after revisions and new guidelines have been published by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Board of Dentistry, State of Florida. The purpose of this course is to ensure all dental care providers and their employees are reminded of the importance of proper infection control through best practices and protocols. OSHA, CDC, and Board of Dentistry recommendations will be reviewed with the objective of ensuring no bloodborne cross-contamination and infection is transmitted in the dental setting.
