This course reviews the sacrum, it's bony landmarks, and muscular attachments, it's relationship to pain in different areas of the body, and how we can help to lessen or alleviate the pain. Part of the course is lecture, while some of the course is hands on.

Disclosure statements

During this course, we will be discussing and working on the sacrum and surrounding tissues. This will include the lower back and upper gluteal muscles. Loose fitting clothing must be worn and if a student is uncomfortable with having their gluteal muscles uncovered, then it is best to not take the course. While we will use draping, we understand that some people may be uncomfortable with this, but must be done for learning purposes. Those not willing to give and receive work on others will not be given credit for the course and may be asked to leave. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
