Course overview

What and who, are the number one causes for spreading disease? This course describes exposure control prograqms, how they work and employee responsibility. It describes how diseases are spead and their prevention to include OSHA's regulations regarding needle sticks, sharps containers, biohazard bags, Hepatitis B vaccines, personal protective equipment and post-exposure procedures along with record keeping and confidentiality. This course covers contact spread, vehicle spread, airborne and vectorborne transmitted diseases, their incubation period, mode of transmission and preventative measures.
