Elder Abuse - SOD

Course overview

We all hope that everyone will be cared for in their old age. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Elder abuse is a sad reality but one that can be prevented and when necessary must be addressed. This course will provide participants with knowledge about the prevalence and forms of elder abuse. Participants will also gain critical knowledge in how to assess and work with individuals whom they suspect may be or are being abused.
