Course overview

At the completion of this home study activity, pharmacists will be able to: Define heart failure and recognize its clinical presentation; Recognize the epidemiology and etiology of heart failure; Identify types of heart failure; List risk factors of heart failure; Compare and contrast the American Heart Association and the New York Heart Association Classifications; Describe the non-pharmacotherapy and pharmacotherapy for patients with heart failure.
