Florida Required Human Trafficking Training: Modern Day Slavery

Course overview

Human trafficking has been identified as one of the most expansive and challenging human rights issues affecting today's global community. This course provides licensed professionals with the training necessary to understand this unseen epidemic as well as become aware of the resources available. This course is approved to fulfill the State of Florida's requirement of Human Trafficking training. CS/CS/CS/HB 851: Human Trafficking - Effective 7/1/2019 "(1) By January 1, 2021, each licensee or certificate holder shall complete a board-approved, or department-approved if there is no board, 1-hour continuing education course on human trafficking. The course must address both sex trafficking and labor trafficking, how to identify individuals who may be victims of human trafficking, how to report cases of human trafficking, and resources available to victims."
