Course overview

Recent studies support the perception that seniors are largely responsible for the upsurge in gambling and the number of legalized gambling venues. Interestingly, these growing numbers of older gamblers appear to have different motivations for gambling than their younger counterparts. The objective of this phenomenological qualitative study was to explore the lived experience of older adults who engage in problem or pathological gambling.
